HeadRace is a new venture-backed start-up focused on solving the problem of high growth start-ups finding a perfect recruiter to help fill their growing headcount. HeadRace's primary product is a platform for employers and recruiters to connect, send agreements, build recruiter profiles, and post job listings to a pre-vetted recruiter marketplace. I was brought into the venture before the doors opened to the public to build out the Product Design organization and the entire platform based on common workflows and user needs.
The product launched to recruiters and employers with great success over the last six months across it's catalogue of products. Users went from an MVP with a very manual process from the team to almost complete self-service on a majority of user flows.
The platform is essentially a two-sided marketplace with recruiters and employers. The goal was to pull the initial brand aesthetic and design system I put into place to build a consistent UI across the platform. With a team with expansive knowledge of our users, aligning user needs was a core first need. I did this my conducting a journey mapping workshop with the entire team.
